International Recording Artist Barbee celebrates an astounding night with the stars and legends at the 2010 Soul Train Awards.
REDAN, GA, December 01, 2010 /Music and Recording PR News/ -- From speaking with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, to being introduced to honoree Anita Baker, Barbee was simply delighted. "Meeting a legend like Anita Baker was a really special moment, just shaking her hand is an inspiration", Barbee says while reflecting on her magical night at the Soul Train Awards.
Barbee's stunning red carpet outfit caught Wolf Blitzer's attention and prompted a comment from Blitzer that he loved her dress. Before she knew it she was being introduced to Wolf Blitzer as Barbee from Jamaica on CNN's covereage of the event. Wolf Blitzer was present at the awards to film segments for his show the Situation Room. At the awards, Blitzer introduced hip hop pioneer Doug E. Fresh, and even threw in a joke or two for laughs.
Barbee is currently recording, and in January she will release her hit single "Come See About Me" featuring the Diamond Princess herself, Trina. Not only has Trina made history by being the only female hip hop artist to produce 5 successful albums, but she and Barbee, both have released Billboard chart topping singles.
It was a huge night for Reggae also, as nominee Gramps Morgan, and Mr. Vegas were present, along with Award winner Gyptian. Media captured the trio of Gramps Morgan, Barbee and Mr. Vegas on the red carpet. Barbee was ecstatic, "I was simply delighted" she says.
