LateRooms.com - Bad Religion Set to Rock Munich

Bad Religion, one of America's leading punk bands for the last three decades, are playing in Munich this summer.

MUNICH, GERMANY, June 23, 2010 /Music and Recording PR News/ -- Punk rock fans using hotels in Munich this summer may be planning to see Bad Religion live in concert.

The legendary Californian band return to Germany as part of their European tour in August and will be heading to the Bavarian capital for a hotly-anticipated gig at Backstage Werk.

Taking place on Monday August 2nd, the event offers fans of the veteran group a chance to experience a live show honed to perfection over three decades of recording and performing.

Bad Religion recently entered the studio to record a new album as a way of marking their 30th anniversary in the music business.

However, they are still finding plenty of time to hit the road and thrill their fans around the world by playing songs from classic albums such as Stranger than Fiction, Recipe for Hate and The New America.

Speaking to the band's website, guitarist Brett Gurewitz explained how the responsibilities of fatherhood have altered his approach to writing songs with Bad Religion.

"Being a new parent has coloured my whole world," he said. "As a result I've written songs that, at least for me, are somewhat less angsty and more introspective and vulnerable."

Tickets for the Munich concert, which will take place at one of the city's most popular live music venues, are priced from GBP23.30.

The show is due to get underway at 17:00 local time and Bad Religion will be supported by Eternal Tango, a punk rock band from Luxembourg who released their debut album to critical acclaim in 2007.

Both acts should contribute to a memorable occasion for both local music fans and those visiting the German city.

"The Bad Religion concert is likely to be popular," said Jess Reading, head of marketing at LateRooms. "LateRooms strongly recommends people considering attending to book hotels Munchen as soon as possible."
